The goal
I aim for this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What I’ve done
- Every page works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a link to skip to the main content.
- If your device asks for reduced motion, the animations stop and every page shows its final, still state.
- Text and buttons are sized and colored for contrast, and the pages work when zoomed in.
- Illustrations that carry meaning have text descriptions; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
- Forms have labels, clear error messages, and status updates that screen readers announce.
What’s still imperfect
- Some sections use scroll-driven animation. Turning on reduced motion gives a plain, still version.
- The contact forms use hCaptcha to stop spam, and booking uses Calendly. Both are run by other companies, and I can’t fully control how accessible they are. If either gets in your way, call or email instead.
