Privacy

What this site collects, in plain English.

Short version: what you type into the contact form, only so I can reply, a spam check on the form, and visit counts from Cloudflare and Google Analytics. Google Analytics sets cookies. No ads, and I don’t sell anything to anyone.

Who I am

This site belongs to Cove Tech Solutions LLC, run by Cove Sullivan, based in Cape May, NJ. Questions about this page go to info@covetechsolutions.com or call or text (609) 232-2694.

The contact form

If you send the contact form, I get your name, email, the topic you picked, your message, and your phone number if you added it. The form also includes a short note about how you found the site: which of the four versions you were looking at, the first page you landed on, the site that sent you (if any), and any campaign tags in the link you followed.

The form is delivered to my email by a form service, Web3Forms, which handles it under its own privacy policy. I use what you send only to reply to you and to follow up on your request. I don’t add you to a mailing list or share it with anyone.

The spam check

The contact forms use hCaptcha, a service that checks you’re a person before a message goes through. To do that, hCaptcha collects information such as your IP address, browser details, and how you interact with the check. It is run by Intuition Machines under its own privacy policy, and Web3Forms uses the result only to accept or reject the message.

Booking a call

The “Book a call” buttons open Calendly, a separate scheduling service. Anything you enter there is handled by Calendly under its own privacy policy.

Counting visits

To see which pages people read, the site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics. It counts page views and notes things like which page was viewed, the site that sent you, your browser and device type, and your rough location (country). It sets no cookies, doesn’t follow you to other sites, and isn’t used for ads. Cloudflare handles it under its own privacy policy, and I only see the totals.

The site also uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies in your browser so it can tell a new visit from a return visit. It records which pages you view, which buttons and links you use (never what you type into a form), how you got here, your browser and device, and your rough location. Google handles it under its own privacy policy. I use it only to see how the site is used, not for ads. You can block it in your browser’s privacy settings or with Google’s opt-out add-on.

What your browser keeps

Apart from the Google Analytics cookies above, this site sets no cookies. It does keep a few small notes in your own browser, which never leave it unless you send the contact form:

You can clear these at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

Services the pages load

The fonts and animation files are served from this site itself. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs (like any web host, it sees your IP address and browser details when your browser asks for a page) and runs the Cloudflare visit counts described above. Google Analytics loads from Google.

Changes

If what the site collects changes, this page will change first and the date at the top will update.
