HomeServicesCustom Work

Custom work, for the weird stuff.

POS systems, servers, big-property WiFi, cameras, phones, moves, and migrations. Plus small automations that answer questions, send reminders, and chase invoices. Ten years of IT means I have seen most of it.

Automations

The busywork, handled.

Questions answered, reminders sent, invoices chased. I set up small automations for the repeat work that fills your week.

Some use AI to answer from your own information or draft a reply. It all runs in accounts under your name, and anything it isn't sure about comes to you.

01 Customer questions

“Customers ask the same questions all day: hours, prices, do you do this.”

What I set up
A chat on your website that answers from your own information and takes a message for anything it can’t answer.
What changes
People get an answer at 10pm, and you only hear about the questions that need you.
Where it runs
Your website, plus a Google or Microsoft account and an AI account in your name. Every conversation is logged where you can read it.

02 Inquiries

“Leads come in from the website, email, and Facebook, and some get lost.”

What I set up
Every website and email inquiry lands in one shared list with a two-line summary, and you get an email the moment one arrives.
What changes
One list to work from. Nothing sits unanswered because it came in the wrong door.
Where it runs
Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, the one you already pay for.

03 Reminders

“No-shows, and customers who’d come back if someone reminded them.”

What I set up
Appointment confirmations, a reminder before the day, and a nudge to rebook when it’s time, sent from your booking system with your wording.
What changes
Fewer empty slots, and regulars hear from you without you remembering.
Where it runs
Your booking or scheduling system, or Microsoft Bookings if you need one.

04 Reviews

“Happy customers never leave reviews, and the ones we get sit unanswered.”

What I set up
A thank-you with your review link after the job or visit. When a new review comes in, a reply is drafted in your voice and waits for your OK.
What changes
A steady trickle of fresh reviews, and every one gets a real answer.
Where it runs
Your email and your Google Business Profile.

05 Getting paid

“I spend Fridays chasing invoices.”

What I set up
Invoice reminders on a schedule, and a short weekly list of who owes what.
What changes
Fewer awkward calls, and you know where the money is.
Where it runs
QuickBooks or the invoicing tool you use.

06 Weekly report

“I don’t know how the week went until I dig through three apps.”

What I set up
One email on Monday morning with the numbers you care about, pulled from your books, bookings, and inbox, in plain English.
What changes
You start the week knowing where things stand.
Where it runs
Your existing accounts, read-only where possible.

Assessment
$400
Builds from
$1,500

The assessment maps how the work flows today and ends with a fixed-price plan. Builds are a fixed price, agreed before I start. Any monthly fee for a tool is billed to you directly by that company.

What I take on

If it plugs in, ask.

Some jobs do not fit a plan or a website. These are the kinds of things this covers.

Your property, mapped
THE CLOSETRegistersPhonesOffice PCsCamerasWiFiOutdoors
Registers, cameras, phones, and WiFi all run back to one closet. I map it, label it, and write it down.
  • POS systems

Registers, card readers, and the back office they report to.

  • Servers and storage

The box in the closet, the shared drive, and where files really live.

  • Networks and big-property WiFi

Outdoor coverage, large properties, and more than one building.

  • Cameras

Set up, reachable from your phone, and recording where it counts.

  • Phone systems

New systems, moved numbers, and the vendor calls that come with them.

  • Moves and rewires

New offices, cleaned-up closets, and cables that make sense.

  • Migrations

Moving email, files, or systems from the old thing to the new one.

  • Everything else

The problem nobody else wants to touch. Ten years of IT, and I have seen most of it.

Two ways to pay. Both in writing.

Hourly$110/hr

For small fixes. They just get done and billed hourly.

Fixed quoteWritten price

For bigger jobs. I look first, then you get a written price and scope before any work starts.

How it works

Look first, then price.

  1. STEP 01

    Tell me what's going on

Call, email, or book 20 minutes. Photos help.

  2. STEP 02

    I look first

On a call or on-site, around Cape May County and the Philadelphia area.

  3. STEP 03

    A written price

Small fixes billed hourly. Bigger jobs get a fixed quote and scope.

  4. STEP 04

    Done, and written down

Notes on what changed, left in your accounts.

FAQ

Questions people ask.

01How does a fixed quote work?

I look first, on a call or on-site. Then you get a written price and scope. Small fixes just get done and billed hourly.

02Do you only work around Cape May?

No. I'm based in Cape May and do on-site work around Cape May County and the Philadelphia area. Websites, tools, and most IT work happen remotely, for anyone.

03Is this AI?

Some of it. AI answers customer questions from your own information, drafts review replies for your OK, and writes the weekly report. It runs in accounts under your name, you can read what it says, and you can switch it off any time.

04Do I need new software?

Usually not. I build on what you already pay for: Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, your booking system, QuickBooks. If something is missing, I'll tell you what it costs before you buy it.

The Handoff Promise. Everything lives in your accounts, under your name, written down, with every login in a vault you control. Month to month, no lock-in. If something happens to me, another IT person could pick it up from my notes on day one.
