Custom Work
Servers, networks, cameras, phone systems, and office moves. The jobs that don’t fit a plan. Plus small automations that chase documents, sort intake, and keep deadlines from slipping. Ten years of IT, and I’ve seen most of it.
The paperwork that chases itself.
Intake that arrives complete, documents that get chased without you, deadlines that don’t slip. I set up small automations for the follow-up work that eats a professional’s week.
Some use AI to summarize, sort, or draft. It all runs in accounts under your name, it never gives advice on your behalf, and anything it isn’t sure about comes to you.
- 2.1
Intake
“New client inquiries come in by phone, email, and the website, and the details are everywhere.”
- What I set up
- An intake form on your site that asks the right questions for your practice and takes documents securely. Every inquiry lands in one list with a short summary, and you get an email the moment it arrives.
- What changes
- You start the first call already knowing the matter, not hunting for it.
- Where it runs
- Your website, plus Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. Uploaded documents go to a private folder you own, cleared out on a schedule you set.
- 2.2
Document chasing
“Every season I chase the same missing statements and forms from half my clients.”
- What I set up
- A checklist for each client and polite reminders that go out on a schedule until each item arrives. Uploads land in that client’s folder.
- What changes
- The chasing happens without you, and you can see who is still missing what.
- Where it runs
- Your email and your Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace files.
- 2.3
Renewals & deadlines
“Renewals and deadlines live in someone’s head or a spreadsheet nobody opens.”
- What I set up
- A reminder schedule built from your list. Clients hear from you before the date, and you get a weekly list of what is coming up.
- What changes
- Fewer last-minute scrambles, and nothing slips because someone was out.
- Where it runs
- The spreadsheet or system you already keep, plus your email.
- 2.4
Meeting notes
“After a client meeting, the notes and to-dos take longer than the meeting.”
- What I set up
- For the meetings you choose, the transcript becomes a short summary and a to-do list, saved to the client’s file.
- What changes
- Follow-up goes out the same day, and the notes are in one place.
- Where it runs
- Your Teams, Zoom, or Google Meet account and an AI account in your name, set so your data isn’t used for training.
- 2.5
Website questions
“People call to ask what we handle and what to bring before they ever book.”
- What I set up
- A chat on your site that answers from your own published information and hands anything specific to you. It doesn’t give legal, tax, or insurance advice.
- What changes
- Fewer of the same calls, and the people who do call are ready.
- Where it runs
- Your website, with every conversation logged where you can read it.
- 2.6
Weekly numbers
“Who is behind, what is billed, what is open: getting that answer takes an afternoon.”
- What I set up
- One dashboard pulled from the forms, spreadsheets, and books you already keep, with a short plain-English summary in your inbox each week.
- What changes
- You see the week at a glance instead of building a report.
- Where it runs
- Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, and your accounting software.
The assessment maps how the work flows today and ends with a fixed-price plan. Builds are a fixed price, agreed before I start. Any monthly fee for a tool is billed to you directly by that company.

The jobs that don’t fit a plan.
Offices collect odd pieces of tech over the years. A server in a closet, a camera system nobody remembers setting up, a phone system on its last legs. This is the work that sorts it out, on-site around Cape May County and the Philadelphia area, and remotely for the rest.
- 3.1
POS systems
Set up, fixed, or connected to the reports you already use.
- 3.2
Servers and storage
The box in the closet, the shared drive, and where your files should really live.
- 3.3
Networks and WiFi
Including large properties and outdoor spaces.
- 3.4
Cameras
Installed, set up, and viewable from your phone.
- 3.5
Phone systems
New systems, moves between providers, and desk phones that ring the right people.
- 3.6
Moves and rewires
A new suite or a new room, planned so the office works on the first morning.
- 3.7
Migrations
Email, files, and accounts moved from the old system to the new one.
- 3.8
The weird stuff
If it plugs in and it’s giving you trouble, ask. I’ve probably seen it.

Questions offices ask first.
Q.How does a fixed quote work?
I look first, on a call or on-site. Then you get a written price and scope. Small fixes just get done and billed hourly.
Q.Is this AI?
Some of it. AI summarizes intake and meetings, sorts what comes in, and drafts reminders and the weekly summary. It runs in accounts under your name, it never gives advice for you, you can read what it says, and you can switch it off any time.
Q.Do I need new software?
Usually not. I build on what you already pay for: Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, your practice software, your accounting software. If something is missing, I'll tell you what it costs before you buy it.
Q.Do you only work around Cape May?
No. I'm based in Cape May, and on-site around Cape May County and the Philadelphia area. Websites, tools, and most IT work happen remotely, for anyone.
Q.Are you on call 24/7?
No. Plans cover business hours, with same-day responses on Active and Fractional CTO. Steady oversight means emergencies get rare.
